ALEX CURRY
Sideline Reporter Bio
Alex Curry will serve as sideline reporter on USA Network’s action-packed competition series American Ninja Warrior: Ninja Vs. Ninja, a role she also held on Team Ninja Warrior.
Curry also serves as a reporter for the LA Kings and Angels broadcasts on FOX Sports West. What’s more, she hosts Angels and Kings Weekly, magazine shows that highlight players' personalities and Curry’s ability to connect with everyone she meets in the worlds of entertainment and professional sports.
Curry has covered everything from E! News Now top stories to football, baseball, hockey, volleyball, and action sports all around the world.
From elementary through high school, Curry played sports year-round and studied musical theatre, appearing in school plays and television such as Still Standing and 7th Heaven. Curry continued her studies at San Diego State University where she received a BA in Journalism Media Studies with a minor in Marketing. During her tenure at SDSU, she began working behind the scenes for the Joe Lewis Production Company and Fuel TV. Curry also played Soccer at SDSU and helped her team take home a NIRSA National Championship in 2006.
After graduating college in 2010, Curry worked as a PA on Last Call with Carson Daly and was the talent manager for ESPN’s X-Games. She also filled in as a host on Fuel TV Download and E! News Now.
Curry joined the FOX Sports crew in 2011 when she covered the World University Games in China for Fox College Sports. Then in 2012, she joined the FOX Sports West family, where she has won 3 Telly Awards to date.
Also in 2012, Curry covered the Pro Beach Volleyball Series on NBC Sports, traveled the world covering the Red Bull Signature series for NBC, hosted Tailgate 48 on the Big 10 Network, was the sideline reporter for the CIFSS Football game of the week on Fox Sports West and Fox Sports 1, and covered the Celebrity Beach Bowl for Direct TV at Super Bowl XLVIII in New York City.
In 2015, Curry joined the Ninja Warrior family as the co-host of Team Ninja Warrior on USA Network. Since 2015, Curry has appeared and guest hosted on a variety of shows, including Skip and Shannon: Undisputed on FS1 and SportsNation on ESPN.
A lifelong Southern California resident, Curry is always finding new ways to give back to her community. She recently started a mentoring program with the Richstone Family Center, and has been working with their Kids Club After School Program. Curry is also an active volunteer for GrowingGreat, a non-profit organization that teaches and inspires children to grow up healthy through science-based garden and nutrition education.
