Marisa Clark is a senior FBI agent and Alec's ex-wife on "The Irrational." Marisa is savvy, capable and empathetic. She cares about her cases, she cares about the people around her, and even though they're divorced now, she still cares about Alec. She tried for years to fix things with Alec before making the tough choice to end their marriage so that she can find out who she is without her ex. Marisa's single-minded focus on work has ensured her a leadership position, but with work in an unpredictable job always coming first, friendships that once mattered to her fell by the wayside. Alec's sister Kylie has been like a sister to her, and thus she's trying to navigate keeping that relationship alive even through the divorce. She is dedicated to her work and has deep convictions toward justice, but, like Alec, she's made work the center of her life, something she occasionally regrets, as she looks for ways to keep growing in all areas of her life, not just in her career.
