Carson Daly Celebrates Fourth Of July By Teasing New Show 'Barmageddon'
Carson Daly celebrated Independence Day by teasing his new series with Blake Shelton, "Barmageddon."
Carson Daly celebrated the Fourth of July while simultaneously getting people hyped for his upcoming USA Network series, “Barmageddon.”
Like most in the U.S., the host of “The Voice” spent the weekend soaking up the sun with his family and celebrating Independence Day. On Monday, he touched base with his followers by sharing a photo of his daughter on a picturesque beach dressed in a red, white, and blue tie-dye dress and munching on a slice of pizza.
In addition to her patriotic attire, the youngster is sporting a trucker hat with the “Barmageddon” title logo written on it. Clearly, it’s an advanced piece of show merchandise, according to Daly’s caption.
“Happy 4th of July from all of us at @barmageddonusa…coming soon. (The show & the hats:)” he wrote Monday.
The show will see Daly team up with his buddy Blake Shelton as they seek out the world’s top-tier bar-game athletes, or “barthletes” as Shelton puts it, as they coach them through a series of games at the country star’s Ole Red in Nashville. Alongside host Nikki Bella, they’ll give people a chance to take on highly competitive bar games such as Air Cannon Cornhole, Keg Curling, Drunken Axe Hole, Sharts (“Shelton Darts”), and many more.
“Nashville is known for great music and hospitality, which makes it the perfect setting,” Shelton previously said in a press release announcing the show. “I’m excited about ‘Barmageddon’ and can’t wait for friends, old and new, to join my buddy Carson and me for some drinks, music, and high-spirited fun at Ole Red.”
The trio won’t be the only ones lending their star power to “Barmageddon.” Each episode will also bring on special guest celebrities who will help the barthletes to test their bar game skills for all of America to see. In the meantime, fans will just have to wait to see what “Barmageddon” (and its hats) have in store for viewers when it premieres on USA Network.
