From dramatic re-couplings to a series of tears, Applegate took to X, formerly Twitter, to share her thoughts on the show. The actress has earned numerous accolades, including an Emmy Award for her guest appearance on Friends and critical acclaim for her leading role in the dark comedy series Dead to Me. 

Although she didn't specify which version of Love Island she's watching, the 52-year-old went on a rant about the Islanders' experience, attitude, and even their attire, leaving no bottle sip or armpit unexamined in her quest for villa perfection

“I adore Love Island. Have watched every season. It I have a beef with production and contestants,” she put on X.“Can you pls stop making weird sounds with your water bottles?like holding straw in mouth and chewing it and not sipping. Or girls with long nails making clicky clackety sounds on ha.”

Expressing her affection for the show, having watched every season, she didn't shy away from addressing what she sees as peculiar habits among both the production team and contestants. 

“White deodorant on the armpits in the heat is gross,” the actress added in a follow-up post. “Now you all are very attractive people, please use clear deodorant!!! The white puss looking shit in the folds is not bueno. This is just me helping you be the best version of you. Haha.”

Again, she didn't specify if she's watching the current season of Love Island USA specifically, but if you're a fan of the franchise like her, you're missing out on a ton of drama that rivals even the juiciest season of any version that came before it. When Applegate made her comments, the villa was still reeling from the events of Casa Amor, which saw dramatic re-couplings shake up the entire villa like never before, leaving the ultimate decision about who wins totally up in the air for America's vote.
