Nikki Bella On Marriage To Artem Chigvintsev: 'I Still Get Butterflies When We Kiss'

One of the hosts of USA Network’s new show “Barmageddon,” Nikki Bella, has been with her husband, professional dancer and “Dancing With The Stars” mainstay Artem Chigvintsev, for almost four years now, but the former WWE Divas Champion says she “still gets butterflies” when they’re together. Nikki Bella opened up to "US Weekly" in an interview about her relationship with Chigvintsev, their steamy personal lives, and why they are the perfect fit for each other.

“It’s crazy because sometimes people say like, ‘Oh, nothing really changes [after marriage].’ But I felt like a lot has changed. Just both of our perspectives in life now as a couple and how we’re there for each other. We just look at things more as a team than individuals and I’ve really enjoyed that,” Bella explained.

The WWE Ambassador and Russian dancer married in August 2022 after being together since January 2019. In January 2020, both Nikki and her twin sister Brie announced pregnancies on the same day. Nikki’s baby boy, Matteo, was born in July 2020.

Nikki elaborated on why she feels like she and Artem are such a good fit, saying his “sweet, calming aura” balances out her frenetic and hyper personality.

“It’s what I didn’t realize I needed in my life because I’m just a go-getter, I’m a hustler, I’m nonstop. I have a lot of energy and Artem calms me in every aspect of life. And he’s brought a lot of grace into my life. Being a fighter and a tomboy, I just, in a way, can be rough around the edges. And he’s brought this beautiful grace into my life that has made me take on life in such a beautiful, calming, soft way,” Bella said.

In the interview, Bella also shed some light on her new game show, "Barmageddon," and talked about working with Blake Shelton and Carson Daly.

“They are two of my favorite people in the world. They are absolutely amazing. They are so down to earth and they’re hilarious and they just make you feel good and you see that in every episode,” Nikki shared.
