Baby Bumpin' Into 2023: Reality TV Stars That Announced Pregnancies In 2022
Multiple reality TV stars are expanding their families in 2023.
2023 will be a major year for many celebrities: They'll be welcoming new babies into their lives! Several reality stars announced on social media in 2022 that they are now expecting a bundle of joy, and we couldn't be more excited for them. Stars from shows like "Temptation Island," "The Traitors," and "Love Island" are proudly displaying their pregnancies on social media. Here's who's expecting:
Erin Smith, "Temptation Island"
Erin appeared on “Temptation Island” Season 3, but although she left the island with her boyfriend, Corey Sobczyk, she called it quits with him shortly after. Clearly, it was the right move, as she's since found love with someone else.
On December 28, she announced on Instagram that she and her beau, Justin, are having a baby. In the caption she wrote, “I’ve dreamed of this moment. Becoming a mother, having a family.”
It’s not clear when the two started dating, but she made their relationship social media official in September 2022.
Shaughna Phillips, "Love Island"
While none of the “Love Island USA” stars are pregnant, across the pond, there are a few “Love Island UK” stars who have revealed they are expecting. Shaughna Phillips announced her happy news in October with a video that said she and her mystery man were expecting their first child in March 2023.
Molly-Mae and Tommy Fury, "Love Island"
Three years after they met on “Love Island UK,” Molly-Mae and Tommy Fury are expecting their first child.
“I can’t wait for the adventures that we haven’t even dreamed of yet," the season 5 stars wrote alongside an Instagram video on September 25 announcing the exciting news. Their baby is set to arrive this month.
Kate Chastain, "The Traitors"
Kate Chastain is known for her role as Chief Stew on Bravo’s “Below Deck," but lately she's been making waves on the Peacock competition series, “The Traitors.” She revealed her pregnancy news on Instagram with a photo of her baby bump.

Kate also made a surprise appearance on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” a day after her Instagram reveal, sharing that she plans to raise her baby solo. She also said she knows the sex of her baby and has a name picked out, but is keeping it private for now.
Ryan Lochte, "The Traitors"
12-time Olympic medalist Ryan Lochte recently made the transition to reality TV when he competed on “The Traitors” on Peacock. That isn't his only big news this year: He and his wife, Kayla Reid, announced in December they are expecting their third child in June. Their kids, Liv Rae, 3, and son Caiden Zane, 4, were also born in June.
Shamea Morton
Former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast friend Shamea Morton revealed on November 16, that she and her husband, Gerald Mwangi, are expecting a baby via surrogate. She said the exciting news comes “after a long journey involving 7 rounds of IVF and failed transfers."
The couple are already parents to one daughter named Shya.
