This Scare Tactics Actor Gave Laughs Instead of Frights on This NBC Comedy
Before terrorizing prank targets on Scare Tactics, Jon Huck appeared in this hilarious NBC series.
USA Network’s Scare Tactics has been delivering non-stop terrifying pranks, giving both viewers and the unsuspecting targets of the pranks a fright.
It’s not a simple task, though, and requires a skilled ensemble of actors who take on insane characters to make these cinematic pranks come to life. One of those actors is Jon Huck, who's appeared in several episodes in Season 1 so far and might be recognizable to some eagle-eyed viewers.
Who is Jon Huck in USA Network’s Scare Tactics?
Huck's Scare Tactics debut was in Season 1, Episode 2 “Hospital Hell," where he portrayed two different and equally terrifying characters. Huck’s first was a killer clown, who chased after the target after a day at the arcade went wrong. He also played a contestant on the fake competition series Thrill Ride, aiding WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes in his star-studded scare for The New Day.

Huck went on to play the chilling owner of a rental home in the third episode, causing his house guests to run in fear after two trapped previous guests broke free from a locked room.
He returned in Episode 4, “The Cursed Collection,” to play a petrifying chicken killer to spook the Gen-Z target who was second-guessing taking on a new nighttime security position.
And in Episode 5, he dons his running shoes to burst out of a cabin and announce to some unwitting gardeners that "it's people!" as they realize that human bodies and blood are being used to fertilize some beautiful tomatoes.
Scare Tactics isn’t the first time Huck has played a creepy character. He made a brief yet memorable appearance in Superstore for a character that was both freaky and hilarious.
Jon Huck’s Superstore Role & Beyond
Huck starred as a minor character in one episode of the beloved NBC comedy Superstore.
In Season 2, Episode 3 “Guns, Pills, and Birds,” he is introduced as Dean, a strange man who approaches Jonah Simms (portrayed by Ben Feldman) to purchase a gun.
After seeing him do some weird things at the store, including speaking to a mannequin, Jonah goes to Amy Sosa (America Ferreria) with his concerns. Ultimately, she agrees to his objection, and they refuse to let Dean buy a gun from the store.
