Hania Says He's ‘Not Going To Take Down The Patriarchy Inside' Him On ‘Temptation Island After Show’

Hania Stoker finds himself having to answer for his actions on the island once again after the men and women got together to watch the latest episode during the “Temptation Island After Show.” 

This time, he sits cringing in his chair as he realizes his significant other, Ash Lamiroult, witnessed the moment he accepted a dare from Edgar De Santiago to plant a hickey on Karyna Auletta's thigh. 

In the episode, Hania gets right to work on the hickey with almost no hesitation. However, during the “After Show,” he sees Ash reacting to the moment at the bonfire and, in hindsight, can only describe his behavior as “disgusting.” 

“That’s all I can say is that was f--king disgusting,” he tells the guys. 

Ash, meanwhile, explains to the girls that it’s difficult to watch the steamy poolside moment and she regrets ever seeing it in the first place.

“It’s more uncomfortable to watch a second time,” Ash says. ”Like, I could have gone the rest of my life without seeing that the first time. I could go two lifetimes without seeing it again. It was just weird, it was a weird, uncomfortable moment.” 

In the last two episodes of the “Temptation Island After Show,” Hania has explained a lot of his past inappropriate behavior and has come up with some pretty wild excuses. The thigh hickey was no exception. Hania blames his “programming” for making him think it was OK.

“Even though I figured out early on that I didn’t want the open relationship, I was still acting poorly, like I still have my programming,” he tells the guys. “After a few days, I’m not going to take down the patriarchy inside me — in a few days, right? This has been a long haul and it’s going to be even longer yet.” 

In a small sign of growth since the island, Hania seems to regret ever letting Ash’s expectations of him get so low. 

“She set her expectations, she didn't expect me to do well,” he says. ”Because I had set that expectation, right? I had set that expectation and I met it.” 

Hania’s shortcomings at that moment are compounded by Gillian Lieberman pointing out that the girls played truth or dare in their villa as well. However, they would often outright refuse to do the dares or even take the penalty shot of alcohol associated with refusal. 

“We would all say ‘no’ and we would move on!” Gillian says. “He could have said ‘no.’”

Iris Jardiel jumps in too, noting that she wouldn’t enjoy someone giving her a hickey in such a visible spot. 

“As a woman, I would never want a thigh hickey, I want to look good in a bikini,” she says. 

The others agree. However, Ash points out that it’s a moot point given that Hania’s efforts to leave a mark proved unsuccessful. 

“It took a really long time and then, apparently, there was still no mark,” Ash reveals. “So it was just thigh sucking.”
