Who Is NASCAR Driver Tyler Reddick’s Girlfriend Alexa DeLeon?
Alexa DeLeon and Tyler Reddick took an unusual path when it came to naming their son.
Relationships are often about compromising, but NASCAR relationships involve just a bit more high-octane flair. So when Tyler Reddick and his longtime girlfriend Alexa DeLeon were expecting their first child in 2019, their back-and-forth over what to name the tike wasn't resolved by a carefully considered pros and cons list, but with a wild bet that produced an adorable result.
Reddick, the up-and-coming driver of the No. 45 Toyota Camry for 23XI in the NASCAR Cup Series, was driving in the Xfinity Series at the time, and he and DeLeon faced a common dilemma. She wanted to name their son Ryker. He favored Archer, then George (his middle name) before settling on Beau, according to NBC Sports.

“I thought it was cute, but that was not my first choice,” DeLeon told NBC Sports at the time. “I was pretty stuck on Ryker at that point and he was not hopping on that train. If you know Tyler, once he gets his mind on something, it’s stuck."
Instead of waging an endless debate, DeLeon threw down a gauntlet: win the Xfinity Series championship and pick the baby's name.
“I don’t know what came over me,” she said. “I guess pregnancy-brain is a real thing, and one day I was like, ‘Listen, you win this championship, you can name him whatever you want, but I don’t want you calling him anything until you are in victory lane holding up that championship trophy in Miami.’"
Well, as legend would have it, Reddick dominated along his repeat trip into the Xfinity Series Victory Lane at Miami that year, so, of course, the 'Baby Beau' was introduced as their son's name. Hey, a deal’s a deal.
While she may not have much of a presence on Twitter, DeLeon’s highly active on Instagram, and from the looks of it, the proud mother of one enjoys showcasing her time both on and away from the track. Kicking it with friends and family coupled with VIP access close enough to the action where the engines’ thunderous roars rattle your brain – sounds like the best of both worlds.
When she is not cheering on Reddick or taking care of Beau, the 28-year-old DeLeon splits her time as a social media influencer and a social healthcare worker who works with West Kent, a group that offers free mental health support to young people. Though her life is always racing full throttle in the fast lane, she's reportedly highly focused on charitable giving through Sembration Opita, an environmental non-profit organization she founded to give back to the Dominican community through a dynamic commitment of reforestation and environmental education. The foundation has helped plant more than 700 trees.
Between her endeavors in social media and social work, life remains steadily busy for the young mother, but she still always finds time to support Reddick’s championship pursuits behind the wheel and, of course, DeLeon will always first and foremost describe herself as a devoted chef and chauffeur to Beau who’s now 3 years old. The happy family of three lives in Mooresville, North Carolina.
