Bad Bunny Shares His Thoughts on 'Dream' Experience at WWE Backlash
Bad Bunny had heartfelt words for his fans after the historic event.
WWE Backlash is firmly in the rearview mirror, with all eyes looking ahead to Night of Champions later this month.
But don't tell that to Bad Bunny. Not only did he put on one of the most incredible performances in WWE history on Saturday, but he deserves every piece of praise being thrown his way. While the WWE Universe may be spoiled by the quality of high-profile matches involving prominent worldwide celebrities lately, Bad Bunny and Damien Priest competed in a San Juan Street Fight for the ages at Backlash.

Bad Bunny Reveals Performing at WWE Backlash Was a Dream
Never one to shy away from connecting with his fans, Bad Bunny recently took to social media to post a heartfelt thank you to the WWE Universe and fans living in his home country of Puerto Rico. (Props to a savvy fan who managed to screenshot this "blink-and-you-missed-it" Instagram story from Bad Bunny!)
It comes as no shock that Bad Bunny revealed he still couldn't believe how unreal the atmosphere was during WWE's first show in Puerto Rico since 2009.
"I'm still processing this," Bunny admitted. "Words can't describe what I felt that day. It was a dream. Thank you, Puerto Rico; you were the real stars both nights. There's no energy like what you brought. Now the world knows where the best wrestling fans in the world are."
Bad Bunny's Match at WWE Backlash Was Historic
Everything about the San Juan Street Fight had a certain magical quality. From Bad Bunny's unforgettable entrance to Puerto Rican wrestling legends like Carlito joining the fray to the in-ring (and out-of-the-ring!) action, it was a transcendent night for all parties involved. Although, we must admit – Damien Priest looked pretty darn good out there himself, constantly wow-ing the WWE Universe in a losing effort.
Speaking of Bad Bunny's epic entrance, here it is in all of its glory – you know, just in case you missed Backlash or haven't seen this clip countless times already throughout social media:
We still get goosebumps when we watch Bunny's entrance. Has a WWE show ever spontaneously transformed into a concert thanks to one unbelievable entrance? We can't remember seeing a crowd that pumped up in a long time.
When's the Next Time Bad Bunny Will Appear in WWE?
Despite Bad Bunny being victorious over Damien Priest at Backlash, there are no specific plans to bring Bad Bunny back to WWE. He is an insanely popular, award-winning musical sensation, after all. While the WWE Universe would undoubtedly support Bunny if he began showing up on Monday Night RAW for the foreseeable future, USA Insider can't see a road to Bad Bunny becoming a full-time Superstar.
However, there's one element that is often overlooked in this situation:
Bad Bunny has been a huge WWE fan since he was young, and based on his performance at Backlash, he sure looked like he was having the time of his life. Maybe Bunny will wake up one morning and realize he'd like to put his music career on the back burner in favor of a full-fledged WWE career.
Crazier things have happened, and we'll be honest – after Backlash, everything is possible for Bad Bunny and WWE.
