WWE RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair Shows Off Her Fashion Know-How At Kentucky Derby
Alongside her husband, Montez Ford, Bianca Belair spent the weekend at the track instead of the ring.
From the ring to the races, WWE’s RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair and her husband, Montez Ford, dressed to impress this weekend at the Kentucky Derby. Belair documented the busy weekend on her Instagram, noting in several posts how much she loved the swanky event and showing off the three larger-than-life hats she designed and made herself.
Fans of Belair’s wrestling career will know that she often designs her own outfits for the ring, but the hats from this weekend were next level. In the final post from the weekend, Belair asked her followers which of the three hats — sparkling fabric and dripping pearls; a halo of pearls; and an enormous crown of flowers reminiscent of the rose wreath worn by racing champs — was the real winner.
On Friday evening, Belair and Ford attended the Unbridled Eve Derby Gala, a yearly auction event for which part of ticket prices go to charity, including the primary beneficiary, Blessings in a Backpack, “an organization that fights childhood hunger by providing a bag of weekend nutrition fighting food insecurity,” according to the Unbridled Eve website.
Belair, a world-class champion in her own right, even took a moment to pose in the Woodford Reserve Winner’s Circle to remind everyone the racers weren’t the only winners in the house.
On the track, last-minute addition Rich Strike pulled an 80-1 upset during Saturday’s 148th Run for the Roses by pushing past Epicenter and Zandon to spark a $163.60 win mutuel.
