Lester Holt is an award-winning journalist and the anchor of NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt. He also serves as principal anchor of Dateline NBC, a role he's held since 2011. Prior to joining NBC News in 2000, Holt served as an anchor at MSNBC. He was inducted into the California Hall of Fame in 2015. Holt can currently be seen hosting NBC Nightly News live on weeknights.
