Yep, That's Chucky Co-Piloting 'Race For The Championship' Team's Hauler
Chucky can go anywhere, and it seems he's made his way to Joe Gibbs Racing as a welcomed guest.
If you’re at all familiar with Chucky, you’ll know that there’s pretty much nowhere his disguise as a harmless Good Guy Doll won’t allow him to go, including the world of NASCAR. Specifically, Joe Gibbs Racing.
The team, which includes “Race For The Championship” stars like Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch (for now), got in on the fun of the “Chucky” Season 2 premiere Wednesday by revealing Chucky himself is already a member of the team.
The organization posted a funny video to its official Twitter account in response to a question from NBC Sports about which team Chucky would race for if he were a NASCAR driver instead of, you know, a killer doll.

The video shows someone filming the team's Bass Pro Shop hauler before revealing a Chucky doll in the passenger’s seat, ready for action. It turns out he’s been a staple of Joe Gibbs Racing’s team, specifically on its massive hauler, for a while.
“To the No.19 team, the answer is already clear,” the video reads.
The video got a response from @ChuckyIsReal on Twitter, where Chucky himself asked why then he’s not allowed to drive. He also noted the team is making him look bad by keeping his hair unkempt.
“Chucky has actually been a co-pilot in the No.19 hauler for a while now,” the Joe Gibbs Racing team wrote in response, along with another photo showing the killer doll in all his glory looking all too comfortable in the passenger seat of the hauler.
The world of NASCAR is just the latest place that Chucky has terrorized. He previously made a brief cameo in WWE and will spend the majority of Season 2 of his very own show diving into the world of what series creator Don Mancini calls a “Catholic-based horror” when he chases Season 1 heroes Jake Wheeler (Zackary Arthur), Devon Evans (Bjorgvin Arnarson) and Lexy Cross (Alyvia Alyn Lind) to a religious reform school. There, he'll attempt to exact the revenge he’s cooked up for them after they foiled his last grand plan at the end of Season 1.
You can catch “Chucky” every Wednesday at 9/8c on USA Network and SYFY and catch up on Season 1 on Peacock. You can also catch “Race For The Championship” every Thursday at 10/9c on USA Network.
