The Cavinder Twins Are Lighting Social Media Up, Drawing Eyes Toward WWE
The Cavinder Twins have been rubbing elbows with Miami's elite since their NXT debut.
The Cavinder twins are everywhere these days!
Just last week, Hanna and Haley Cavinder's WWE aspirations were put into overdrive when the twin sisters shocked the WWE Universe, helping the new number one contender to the NXT Women's Championship, Thea Hail, celebrate her battle royal victory on the June 6 edition of NXT. The women had been teasing that their debuts were imminent, and they wasted no time making their presence known, all while dressed to kill.
While the Cavinder twins haven't teased an NXT appearance this week just yet, they have a built-in excuse: They're way too busy! The pair have been making the rounds, firing off viral video after viral video, giving the WWE Universe a glimpse into their lives in the process. No offense to The Miz, but they're well on their way to becoming the new must-see WWE Superstars if they keep up their popularity!
The Cavinder Twins Having Been Living It Up Since Their NXT Debut
On June 9, the duo sat courtside for Game 4 of the NBA Finals between the Denver Nuggets and the Miami Heat. As graduates from the University of Miami, fans didn't need a diploma to realize who they were rooting for. Although Miami fell short in Game 4 (and ultimately lost the best-of-seven series on June 12), Hanna and Haley brought the heat to the Kaseya Center.
The pair were even spotted hanging out with Brazilian soccer megastar Neymar during the game. Neymar made headlines recently when he announced he was joining Inter Miami of Major League Soccer, sending shockwaves throughout the soccer world. It was indeed a meeting of some of South Beach's elite, especially considering MMA legend Conor McGregor was in attendance that evening. Seriously, move over Los Angeles – Miami is the place for high-profile celebrities to take in an NBA game lately!
After spending Friday evening cheering on the Miami Heat along with Neymar, the women took to the shores and ocean water of South Beach as they enjoyed some well-deserved rest and relaxation. All the cheering and selfie-taking clearly tired the girls out. The New York Post captured their disappearing Instagram stories over the weekend and, unsurprisingly, based on these photos, Hanna and Haley would fit right in on a boat next to plenty of WWE Superstars. According to reports, the sisters spent a sunny afternoon enjoying the perfect Miami weather alongside their personal friends and celebrity hairstylist MJ Snyder.
"I luv swimming," Hanna wrote in the comment section of their Instagram.
Haley added: "We luv it here."
Evidently, there was no room on the boat for a spelling bee champion, but what the twins lack in elementary spelling acumen, they compensate for it with their dazzling combination of beauty and athleticism.
In the end, whether the twins attend NBA games, spend their weekends partying on a boat, or throw out in-ring challenges, they are bringing eyeballs to WWE as a whole. In reality, it's the same basic game plan that Logan Paul and WWE have perfected over the years, and look where Logan Paul is today.
What's Next For the Cavinder Twins and WWE?
The June 6 episode of NXT showed the WWE Universe that Hanna and Haley Cavinder could make their presence known anytime their schedule allows it. However, as we've stated before, the duo is still far from stepping into the ring for more than a celebratory post-battle royal celebration. It will likely be a long and winding journey to becoming the "next Bella Twins," as the sisters love to say.
Until the two women officially make their in-ring debuts, they'll still be in the public eye. After all, they're two of the most viral social media influencers and athletes around. Every photo they post explodes across all social media channels, and it will only help drive WWE's popularity in the end. That's great for all parties involved, especially the WWE Universe.
But while we're not expecting anything more than a few cameos on television for the foreseeable future, stranger things have happened, there is one slot left for the women's Money in the Bank ladder match, after all!
You can tune in to Peacock to watch WWE's Money in the Bank on July 1. In the meantime, catch up on all things WWE Universe on Peacock as well.
