Now that the Royal Rumble is in the rear-view mirror, all signs point to WWE Elimination Chamber 2025 — and the exciting Premium Live Event is just around the corner.

WWE Elimination Chamber will be broadcast live on Peacock on March 1, and will aim to bring WrestleMania into clearer focus due to two Elimination Chamber matches being scheduled. As longtime fans know, not only do the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble winners punch their ticket to a WrestleMania main event, but the winners of the Elimination Chamber matches also guarantee themselves a title opportunity on the Grandest Stage of Them All!

With that in mind, here are the official matches announced for the Royal Rumble 2025!

This article will be updated as WWE announces more matches.

Men’s Elimination Chamber 2025 Match

John Cena in the ring at SummerSlam

Qualifying matches on Raw and SmackDown have finally been completed — and CM Punk, Logan Paul, Seth Rollins, Damian Priest, and Drew McIntyre have already secured their spot in the men’s Elimination Chamber match. However, John Cena stole the attention away from his fellow Superstars by inserting himself into the match without even competing for it!

Although John Cena came up short in this year’s Royal Rumble, he atoned for his in-ring missteps by jumping the line and declaring himself for the men’s Elimination Chamber match in a shocking moment after Royal Rumble went off the air:

Obviously, Cena’s way of inserting himself into the match — with a title shot on the line at WrestleMania, no less — has ruffled more than a few feathers in the locker room. CM Punk has gone on the record by saying he isn’t happy that Cena did what he did, and it serves as another fascinating layer to the men’s match on March 1.

There are some years when the Elimination Chamber feels like an all-star game, and the 2025 iteration is no exception. Could this be Logan Paul’s coronation to the top of WWE? Could CM Punk finally secure his WrestleMania main event? Or will John Cena be a man of his word, win the Elimination Chamber match, and attempt to capture his record-breaking 17th world championship at WrestleMania? And with Seth Rollins and Damian Priest recently (and successfully) qualifying for the match as well, it's anybody's match to win.

There are just so many storylines to follow — we wouldn’t blame any fan if they got dizzy trying to keep track!

Women’s Elimination Chamber 2025 Match

Alexa Bliss walking into the ring

The stakes are equally as high in the women’s Elimination Chamber match, as the winner is slated to face one of the top women’s champions at WrestleMania. And much like on the men’s side, this match is as star-studded as they come! But while every competitor is more than capable of leaving Elimination Chamber a WrestleMania contender, nobody’s been hotter in recent weeks than Alexa Bliss:

Little Miss Bliss returned to WWE after a two-year absence — and suffice it to say, the WWE Universe welcomed her back into the fold with open arms. Bliss garnered one of the biggest ovations in WWE history at the Royal Rumble, and now fans want nothing more than to see her ascend to the top of the women’s division once again.

The first step, of course, is the Elimination Chamber.

Bliss has quite a formidable list of opponents — in fact, any Superstar could walk out of Elimination Chamber with WrestleMania in their sights! Bayley, Bianca Belair, Naomi, and Liv Morgan have all held the division’s top championships, and we have a feeling they’re all looking to spoil Bliss’ return.

The wildest part? There's still one more open spot available in the women’s Chamber match — who knows who will make their presence known on March 1!

Unsanctioned Match: Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn have fought each other countless times throughout their careers, but this time around, at Elimination Chamber in Toronto, things will be a little bit different. The two Superstars will square off in a match completely unsanctioned by WWE!

After being laid out by Owens' package piledriver, Zayn stormed into the arena during the February 17 episode of Monday Night Raw with revenge on his mind. After much deliberation, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce finally gave him what he wanted: a match with KO at Elimination Chamber, but with one caveat: WWE is not responsible for what happens during the match!

Unsanctioned means anything goes. Unsanctioned means that although WWE is allowing the match to happen during a PLE, whatever happens to either man is not the company's responsibility.

In short, unsanctioned means the WWE Universe really can't prepare themselves for the brutality that Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn will put each other through. Unsanctioned matches have only happened on such rare occasions that it's challenging to put the gravity of this match in proper form; they only occur when the hatred between two Superstars gets so unbearable that there's no other option!

Let's put it this way: If you thought March 1 would be defined solely by the outcome of both the men's and women's Elimination Chamber matches, well, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn may have something to say about that.

Tiffany Stratton & Trish Stratus vs. Nia Jax & Candice LeRae

Trish Stratus' shocking return at Royal Rumble 2025 has led to an unlikely partnership alongside the WWE Women's Champion, Tiffany Stratton, and at Elimination Chamber, the two blonde bombshells will take on the former champion Nia Jax and the "Poison Pixie" Candice LeRae!

The match was set in stone after Jax destroyed Stratton and Stratus after the former picked up a win over LeRae:

Naturally, Jax is out for revenge after Stratton cashed in her Money in the Bank contract to take the title away from the champion, and all indications point to Jax's timing working out perfectly. In recent weeks, Stratton has been preoccupied with her upcoming WrestleMania title defense against Charlotte Flair, so who knows where Stratton's head will be on March 1. Stratus herself may be the match's wild card; has she returned to active competition to be just another friendly face in the women's locker room? Or has she come out of retirement to once again challenge for the top championships in WWE?

You can tune in to Peacock to watch Elimination Chamber 2025 on Saturday, March 1. In the meantime, catch up on all things WWE Universe on Peacock.
