Although the WWE Universe is still buzzing over the return of CM Punk, one of the most beloved Superstars has some thrilling news to share! We're happy to report that on November 27, Alexa Bliss and her husband, Ryan Cabrera, welcomed their first child into the world!
Alexa Bliss Announces Birth of Daughter Hendrix
In an announcement on his Instagram page, Ryan spoiled the news via an epic video introducing baby Hendrix Rogue Cabrera, who entered the world at 6 pounds, 9 ounces. In a clever nod to Alexa's WWE career, the birth announcement video billed Hendrix at "21 inches of fury." It looks like Hendrix only has 39 inches to go until she is as tall as her mom!
By all accounts, both Alexa and Hendrix are doing great.
Alexa took to social media on November 30 to pass along a piece of trivia to the WWE Universe, revealing that her daughter shares the same birthday as music legend Jimi Hendrix, who was born on November 27, 1942 – how cool is that?
"I know everything happens for a reason, and the world works in mysterious ways," Alex wrote. "Our daughter Hendrix coincidentally being born on Jimi Hendrix birthday is one of those moments for me."
There aren't many things cooler than your child sharing the same birthday as one of the greatest rock n' roll guitarists ever. We have to commend the couple on their expert child-planning timing! Flawless work all around, really.
It's also worth noting that Jimi Hendrix's "Voodoo Chile" was the entrance theme for Hollywood Hulk Hogan during his nWo days in the late 90s – a fact that any longtime member of the WWE Universe knows by heart! It's widely regarded as one of the most iconic entrance themes in pro wrestling history.
Alexa isn't the only new first-time mom in the WWE locker room. This news comes just a few short weeks after fellow WWE Superstars Carmella and Corey Graves announced the birth of their first son.
How Did Alexa Bliss and Ryan Cabrera Meet?
Believe it or not, the WWE Universe has The Miz to credit for the Alexa/Ryan pairing! According to a feature in PEOPLE published earlier this summer, The Miz played matchmaker like only he could.
"The WWE star and pop star first met in October 2019 at the WWE SmackDown premiere in California," PEOPLE wrote. "They were introduced by their mutual friend and fellow WWE star Michael 'The Miz' Mizanin, who is best friends with Cabrera."
Before the WWE Universe knew what was happening, the award-winning rocker proposed in November 2020. The couple wed in April 2022 in a star-studded ceremony that included countless WWE Superstars attending! The rest, they say, is history. Time flies fast, doesn't it? In the span of three years, Alexa and Ryan met for the first time, got married, and had their first child!
